Circa 1850/1880 antique Swedish Gustavian green and gold painted chest of drawers buffet commode in gustavian style with classic Gustaviancurverd detail features on the bottom drawer and lightly gold edges.
It has round edged feet, ribbed top edge and 4 drawers with pull keys ( locks are for show only)
Classic Gustavian styling and the later green and gold paint patina brings out all the decorative detailing - it has a plain back
The drawers have all the usual marks of age for a piece of this period and the drawer bottoms may contain old marks of use
It features ornate brass rings pulls per drawer as you would expect of a piece of this period and 1 escutcheon
The drawers have been treated against woodworm and structurally sound for daily use (carefully!)
