Antique Swedish Gustavian White Grey painted plain front chest of drawers commode in gustavian style with classic Gustavian detail on the drawer fronts and leading edges.
It has a rare marble top and looks lovely.
It has pyramid feet, ribbed top edge and 3 drawers.
Classic Gustavian styling and the stunning white grey paint patina brings out all the decorative detailing - it has a plain back
The drawers have all the usual marks of age for a piece of this period and the drawer bottoms may contain old marks of use
It features 2 ornate brass handles per full length drawer as you would expect of a piece of this period and 2 escutcheons.
The drawers have been treated against woodworm and structurally sound for daily use (carefully!)
