Very beautiful antique Louis XV style opulent fireplace made out of Fleur de Pêcher marble
price upon request
This imposing antique Louis XV style fireplace was made out of Fleur de Pêcher marble during the 19th century. It is richly decorated with a typical Louis XV style carved decor. Oblong moldings decorate the frieze and the delicately tapered jambs. They are canted and embellished with scrolls, ornamental motives and acanthus leaves which also decorate the frieze. It has, at its center, a large and stylised shell. Heat output on the upper part of the frieze.
Its original cast iron insert is particularly sophisticated and has beautiful arabesque, a rosette and Acanthus leaves.
A marble floor could be made to order (ask us for marble availability).
