This rare and breathtaking Mid-Century Modern Italian design credenza in glamorous Hollywood Regency style is attributable to the famous photographer and designer Willy Rizzo for Mario Sabot and dates back to early 1970s. This chests of drawers entirely made of the finest birch burl and veneer wood features three drawers atop three doors that reveal useful and capacious shelving units. This timeless vintage sideboard is finished front to back with high-quality material finely worked, both on front and on back, as double bookmatched bird’s-eye birch veneer with honey and caramel color amazing grain. This fantastic rectangular free-standing buffet is finished with round shaped gilt brass handles and gilt brass detailing along the edges that anchor the wood from the top to the bottom, all resting on a rectangular shaped gilt brass socle. The gold color of the metal's details works as a chic and amazing contrast to the burl wood in both color and texture and make this storage cabinet even more precious with thick, straight lines of molded brass adorning its exterior.
