1950s Telescopic Drafting Lamp Model 210 by Ki-E-Klair, France

Industrial architect lamp model 210, manufactured by Ki-E-Klair in France, circa 1950. This stunning piece is made of high quality chrome-plated aluminium. The hood of the lamp has a very smooth design creating a typical French appearance that somehow resembles the style of Serge Mouille. It can easily be clamped to a table, making this piece very versatile in its use. They were seen in photos of the drawing room of Jean Prouvé, attached to his drafting tables. A beautiful piece of French design history!
