Exceptional very large ceiling light designed by Ernest Krejza and Milos Kramolis for Hotel International Brno in the Czech Republic, circa 1960. This amazing lamp comes from the famous Hotel International Brno, which is one of the most important and best preserved Brussels-style buildings in Czech Republic. The eleven-story hotel was built between 1959 and 1962 and designed by Ernest Krejza and Milos Kramolis, who also designed this beautiful lamp. It is made of the highest quality glass. Existing of several glass plates in a row. The plates are decorated with yellow and clear glass drops, giving it the amazing, luxurious appearance fitting the luxurious hotel it was designed for. A very rare find that would make a true eye-catcher in any interior, especially since it is exceptionally large! We have two more lamps by the same designer available in different sizes. This is the largest edition. In very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
