An important, fine quality, English Regency period, glass tent and waterfall chandelier. The top decorative circular pans and rule drops support the swags of crystal buttons, flowing down to the exquisite cut glass arms and thistle cups, the drip pans decorated with later crystal drops. The chandelier is terminated with rule drops and an exquisite solid faceted glass ball. The chandelier is attributed to John Blades, a leading glassmaker of the early nineteenth century.
