Elegant and linear pair of appliques; the structure on which the light points are applied is perfectly made of solid brushed and polished brass; the cups are in the half crystal; unlike crystal, the glass from which the half-crystal is produced does not contain lead; the half-crystal is facetted by machine and then put in an electric furnace to make the edges of the faces less sharp, then hot-polished or fire-polished to give it a bright and shiny finish with an ice effect; the half-crystal is native to Bohemia and after 200 years the half-crystals of the Czech Republic are still considered the most valuable. Our sconces were produced in France in Arlus style (Art and Lustre) between 1960 and 1963; Maison Arlus was a French lighting manufacturer, very active since the 1950s and close to the modern design movement, it had its headquarters and a sales store in Paris, Arlus offered high-quality products and artistic and technical service to guide and personalize customers' choices. In our wall sconces, the half-crystal and the arrangement of the light points, allow excellent and original lighting; the minimalist and pure line, the simple and clean design make this wall sconces two refined and versatile furnishing objects that can be placed with taste in any environment.
