Peculiar and linear pair of vintage Italian wall sconces; on each sconce is a sturdy chrome-plated brass cylinder on which, by means of minimal supports, five elegantly shaped slabs of smoky hazel-colored tempered crystal are applied; two of them are positioned to remain parallel to the wall, while the other three protrude outward, like petals of a flower; on the back of each cylinder is applied for a plate with a small spacer that allows the wall sconces to be fixed to the wall and to which the electrical wires reach; at the ends of the metal tube are positioned the two light points of each sconce, which is free from obstacles are excellent for perfect distribution of light in an excellent and uniform manner The strong chrome plating to a thickness of the objects was obtained by the galvanic bath. The sconces were made between 1970 and 1973 in a craft workshop in Milan inspired by a model design by the famous Fontana Arte Company.
