Pleasant and elegant pair of hand-painted white opaline glass table lamps; originally these lamps were oil lamps, the mechanism with the wick has been removed in order to electrify them for more comfortable and modern use, giving them another aesthetic purpose; the base and upper decorations are in gilded bronze that time has slightly aged, but made more interesting; the lamps were made in Napoleon III style in France between 1925 and 1930 in a handicraft workshop in Wimmenau, in the Vosges region, a territory made famous by the important glassworks present in the area (Saint-Louis, Lalique, etc).
