A stunning rare floor lamp, model “ST46”, designed by Kho Liang Ie and manufactured by Artiforte in the Netherlands in 1950.
This is a first edition of this design! The elegant piece has a cylinder shape. The fiberglass shade gently diffuses a nice light that warmly lights up the decor and adds a wonderful atmosphere. The narrow, black lacquered frame gives the piece a very nice modern style, very fitting for many different kinds of decors and guaranteed to draw the attention. An iconic find of mid-century Dutch design lighting!
It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. One of the legs is very slightly bent and there is a very small damage at one part of the shade as reflected in the photos.
