Silver jardinière of oval type
The wall of the vessel is vertically divided by a large-scale hump decor, the folds of which continue in the oval base, set off by a string of pearls, and run out like a fan. The wavy opening at the top is surrounded by a pearl ribbon, two volute-shaped handles are located on the narrow sides. Original glass insert with fan cut and ground star.
Finest work of simple elegance made between 1894 and 1903
marked with Viennese 'Diana's Head' - Official Hallmark for 800 Silver from 1872 to 1922
Master's mark: 'KJ' - for KARL JEDLICKA: 1894 - 1903 active as silversmith in Vienna
