Excellent piece of Viennese bronze Art, circa 1900:
A bearded oriental in a long green robe and turban sits cross-legged on a hinged wooden cage on a carpet and smokes a long pipe. Next to him are piled balls that could be oranges, next to the cage is a round storage jar with a chipped opening. Colored, Bergmann signet on the bottom of the cage and on the underside
of the carpet.
Excellent and detailed quality of the composition, very lifelike representation, as is typical for Viennese bronze art.
