French 19th Century Faux Leather Light Blue Zuber Wallpaper with Floral patterns


A beautiful French 19th century Zuber wallpaper, manufactured by Jean-Henri Zuber in 1836. This one-stripe wallpaper is adorned with gilt floral patterns and birds on a light blue background. In this work of art is exalted the zuber craftsmanship, the papier peint has an incredible three-dimensional effect because the paper is worked as faux leather. It feature a wide extremely well done multicolored decoration. Pale rose, blue, green and brown colors harmoniously blend on the light blue background. The rich floral patterns are framed by gold colored decorations throughout. We put the roll on frame and we made mold and moth treatment. It is ready to use. Perfect as a sliding door, as a decoration to enclose in a boiserie or simply hanged on the wall. It will bring a very charming and romantic note to any room of your home. Zuber has been creating handmade wallpapers since 1797. It still adheres to its 200-plus-year-old tradition of producing wallpapers with original, 17th-, 18th-, and 19th-century woodblocks, with some panoramas made up of more than 50 strips of paper and dozens of layers of color—and each applied by hand.
