Most Remarkable Rarest Goldscheider Art Déco Figurine Group of the 1930s Four young revue dancers standing next to each other with the same pageboy hairstyle in different hair colors, taking a step forward. At the same time, they lift up the purple bluebell-shaped hem of their short dresses with fur collars. On a black, diamond-shaped base. Extremely rare and elaborate design by the Goldscheider company as a special creation, as the 'Dolly Sisters' were actually just a pair of twins. The 'Dolly Sisters' Rosie Dolly (1892-1970) and Jenny Dolly (1892-1941), known professionally as (the) Dolly Sisters, were Hungarian-American identical twin dancers, singers and actresses, popular in vaudeville and theatre during the 1910s and 1920s. Both sisters also appeared in two silent films. Designed by Stefan Dakon (1904-1992), one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-fifties.
