MEISSEN TALL AS WELL AS GORGEOUS FIGURINE GROUP: CATCH OF TRITONS EXCELLENTLY PAINTED & MODELLED (THE DETAILS ARE STUNNINGLY SCUPLTURED = FINEST MODELLING) DESIGN: Johann Joachim Kändler (circa 1765), with collaboration of CHRISTOPH CARL PUNCT / modeller, worked since 1761 on behalf of Meissen manufactory & JOHANN CARL SCHÖNHEIT, assistant of Kändler: He has been active at manufactory since 1745.   MADE c. 1850 - 60. MEISSEN BLUE SWORD MARK WITH POMMELS ON HILTS (underglazed). IT IS MODEL C 35 | PAINTER'S SIGN EXISTING. FIRST QUALITY. Two women - supporting themselves on rocky bases - are busy with catching the triton child having been captured in a net which is drawn by a cherub / large rocky base existing - it is stunningly decorated with various sculptured items (reeds, various shells, a frog, spiny lobster ... many fishes are floundering in net).
