FIRST QUALITY.
MATERIAL: WHITE PORCELAIN, GLOSSY FINISH, FINEST PAINTING.
TECHNIQUE: HANDMADE PORCELAIN.
DESIGNER: MICHEL VICTOR ACIER / designed and modelled circa 1777.
The modeller - born in France at Versailles - was staff member of Meissen manufactory as from 1764 as well as most important modeller apart from Kaendler / after Kaendler's death in the year 1775 he was alone responsible for creating models of Meissen manufactory.

An ELEGANT LADY standing upright crosses her arms over her breasts | she is turning towards a naked cherub which is hiding itself under the lady's mantle / additionally the lady holds a garland of flowers | an elder woman sits beside the lady: it seems that she tries to calm her ... there is a naked cherub kneeling before the lady figurines - it presents broken eggs to women - a basket filled with eggs is lying on ground (the eggs are pouring out). The figurine group is based on oval rocky support with golden painted frieze. - THE SCENE DEPICTED HERE IS REFERENCE TO SOME VINTAGE PROVERBS WHICH HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH BROKEN EGGS / for example: Broken Friendship as well as Broken Eggshells can't be repaired anymore. - He who breaks Eggs in Basket destroys a Plan had been elaboratively made before...

The SQUIRE / GALLANT MAN is lifting up a NOBLE LADY who is going to enter the broken bridge | in front of them A WINGED AMOR BOY is scattering roses on the bridge: THIS SCENE IS A WONDERFUL SYMBOL OF LOVE, INDEED ! Behind the figurines there is a second AMOR BOY visible: He has a quiver filled with arrows attached to his back. The figurine group is based on oval rocky support with golden-blue painted frieze.
