SILVER CLOISONNÉ BEAK-SPOUTED KOVSH /
A Kovsh was a traditional ladle for drinking, having been used in Russia as from Middle Ages until 19th century.
LADLE FOR DRINKING MADE OF GILDED / GILT SILVER. Decorated with excellent enamelled ornaments: Cloisonné (= Cloisonné enamel: Thin threads are soldered on surface first / multicolored liquid glass has to be poured within these areas edged by the threads. The final step of manufacturing is heating in oven under temparature of at least 800 degrees.)
The decoration consists of multi-variant stylized as well as multicolored leaves (the main colors are blue tones) / additionally, the bowl's bottom is ornamented with a decorative pair of birds. - The beak's outer wall is covered with a round semi-precious stone (= probably it is a blue aventurine).
