Anna Maria Consadori Arte Antiquariato Design
7 years agoGalleria Anna Maria Consadori - presentation with May 2018 set up detail
Daughter of the painter Silvio Consadori, Anna Maria Consadori first trained as an architect and then, in 1996, founded the Gallery of the same name, which, since 2001, has been located at Via Brera 2 in Milan, right in the heart of what is by tradition the city’s artistic quarter.
She is a firm believer in the idea that the quality of a space for living cannot be without the reasonable presence of the “major” arts, namely painting and sculpture.
Her gallery thus combines the effort to conduct research and valorize twentieth-century Italian design with a substantial interest in the artistic production from that same period of time.
Next to ceramics, designer jewelery, glass, lamps, decorative objects, created by designers such as Gio Ponti, Giulio Minoletti, Ignazio Gardella, Campo e Graffi, George Nelson, Enzo Mari, Guglielmo Ulrich, you can admire the works of artists such as Arnaldo Pomodoro, Umberto Milani, Roberto Crippa, Tomaso Buzzi, Lucio Fontana, Giuseppe Spagnulo.
Her attention is, however, also drawn to the new contemporary production, even with works created specifically for the gallery.
Consadori Gallery manages the archive of Silvio Consadori.
