Spring is coming in via Maggio for the 'Maggiolata' an event organized by the Via Maggio Association that will take place on May Saturday 26th, for the third edition. Esposito Antique Gallery will host Francesco Calanca, PhD in English and American Studies , for a talk about late 19th Century Anglo-American community and its most distinctive members and treasure hunters who lived in the Florentine Oltrarno district. Our spring festival is dedicated to art, music, singing and flowers that will invade the Oltrarno district to homage the traditions and the Florentine Maggio Musicale. A rich program with concerts, singing and musical performances will animate the street as it happened in the past during the month of May in the ancient festivals of the Tuscan folk tradition dedicated to the season of flowers and the rebirth of nature.
