Zebra Crossing
€7.200,00
A crosswalk is called "Zebrastreifen" in german. So it's like a pun became real but is also just a part of this phantastic realism painting of Elke Schönberger. Unbelievable details are recognizable all over the artwork. And the car, the crosswalk, the sunset and the typical viennese subway station in the background associate with the oberservers Memory of a very typical view on Vienna, in the near of castle Schönbrunn.
The term "photorealism" ist not able to describe the paintings of Elke Schönberger adequatly. Only on the first look the artworks seem to show a realistic view on landscapes and city scenes. But if you look closer you will notice the surrealistic and often associative power of Schönbergers paitnings. Incredible details, colors in a enormous range and a enormous effort in each and every work.
