Pair of Wassily Chairs by Marcel Breuer for Gavina

The wassily chair was originally produced by Thonet, after which the license was transferred to Gavina, Italy who produced the chairs until 1968. Today the chair is still produced by Knoll. This model is dating from the Gavina production period and so dates from the sixties. The chairs have a steel tube frame and a thick canvas upholstery. They stand in a good condition and have gained a beautiful patina through the years.
