Vivai del Sud Rare 1970s Italian Pair of Freestanding Chrome End Tables

price upon request

This 1970 pair of side tables / night stands is a very rare design by Vivai del Sud - Architettura ed Alta Decorazione, an Italian Company founded in Rome in 1950 with among their prestigious clients several presidential families and kings, Rothschild, Krupp and Von Furstenberg Families. The design is simple, yet extremely creative and architectural: the back is also finished in dark red so that these tables can be displayed in the middle of a room. The three drawers, accented by a chromed circle on the front, are suspended on a chromed frame that has the interior sides tinted in dark red like the front of the drawers, giving color to the receding spaces.
