$3,200.00

The perfect grey-brown ribbed interior has an execution of high quality.
La Borne is an active dedicated pottery center since the 13th century. Known for centuries as “Village de Potiers,” La Borne is nestled in the eastern part of the Loire valley, southeast of Orléans not far away from Sancerre, the well-known French wine area and nearby beautiful middle-age city of Bourges. La Borne has always been active with potters and their workshops, drawn to the area for its rich tradition of wood-fired stoneware and recognized for a pioneering creative spirit. Its rich clay Art History has allowed La borne to distinguish itself from other close by pottery centers such as Nevers and Gien.
