MARKS: There is at reverse side of dinner set's pieces MEISSEN SWORD MARK (underglazed) with Pommels on Hilts existing. Various former's numbers visible. MODEL NUMBER T 21 - T 42. MADE CIRCA 1915 - 24. FIRST QUALITY. DESIGN: HANS RUDOLF HENTSCHEL (Berlin-Coelln 1869 - 1951 Meissen). Hans R. Hentschel was a German porcelain painter and etcher. His younger brother was the well-known Konrad Hentschel (1872 – 1907) who died early: Both artists are the most important representatives of Art Nouveau period in Meissen. - Hans Rudolf Hentschel created various painted decorations as well as some new types of dishes (among them the most important Meissen Art Nouveau Dinner Set called "T-glatt" we're presenting here). - Henschtel created this set we're presenting here before First Wold War, before 1914.
