€80.000,00
Alexander Max Koester was born on the 10. February 1864 in Neustadt (today Bergneustadt, Germany) and died on 21. December 1932 in Munich. He was a german Painter that chose the duck as a recurrent motive for his paintings. In the course of time his style changed from a very accurate way of painting to more abstract, impressionist features.
Although the colors of this painting are almost entirely earthy tones, the ducks shimmer in various shades. Every time you look at it you can find a new detail.
