Tom Wesselmann, born on the 23. Februar 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio and died on 17. Dezember 2004 in New York, was a painter, graphic artist and object artist. In addition to Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein , he is considered one of the most important representatives of the Pop-Art. Female nudes were one of his most typical themes. Only lines and and an enormous colorful scene point up the areas in between. There may be exclusively associations but is anyway effective in the combination of intensity and tension in this screenprint. Signed and numbered lower right: 84/90
