A Persian Tabriz allover Herati design of classic 17th century made initally in city of Herat, hence Herati design. Almost all fine rug weavers were taken by this deisgn and this patern was copied in many region of Iran. But the best execuion in weave and colors still is done in city of Tabriz in north west of Iran. This is remade in style of Tabriz Herati of 19 century. These rugs are still praised by many collectors and are rarities. This rug as far as color combination has all the colors a true connoisseur is looking for. Hand spun lamb's wool and natural vegetable dye with differnt dye lots give this the teture and look of a smillar rug of over 100 years of age.
