An important Gustavian commode made by Nils Petter Stenstrom(1750-1790) in Stockholm circa 1780-90, Stenstrom worked with George Haupt in his workshop 1771-72 and was very infuenced by him in the beginning of his career. George Haupt is the most famous cabinetmaker in Sweden during the 18th cent. Stenstrom was working as a master in Stockholm during a fairly short time (1782-90) and his work is quite rare. The top is Swedish Kolmardsmarble.
