Art Deco Cherrywood Green and White Velvet Italian Armchairs, 1940

Features Italian art deco armchairs, in the style of Paolo Buffa, Vittorio Dassi and Osvaldo Borsani. Armrest in curved wood, and very fine upholstery of an Italian silk factory.
Structure all in cherrywood very well polished; the seat is covered in green embroidered velvet fabric, with side bands in white crumpled velvet. The Fabric coming from the Zoagli silk factory. Formed by a curved armrest, which also forms the front leg. The back legs instead continue, with a band, all around the backrest. For the upholstery were used velvets of different colors, a green crumpled velvet combined with a crumpled white velvet. Note the curve that forms the front leg.
These chairs have been completely renovated and reupholstered by our own atelier. it is specialized in re-upholstery of design furniture. With great care and expertise for every single object, make sure that each piece retains its value and is ready for many years to come.
