Italian pair of two-drawer commodes or nightstands, one-of-a-kind contemporary work, entirely handmade showing high quality and elegance of execution: The surround in ivory white is decorated with a geometrical abstract pattern in black glass and the gold inserts are in sophisticated brass while all the edges of the drawer interiors are finished in gold mirror. The cubic handles are entirely hand made in wood, edged with brass and sides completely covered in gold mirror, same finish as the drawer interior edges. The drawers are equipped with a modern soft closure system. The legs are hand cast in bronze with matching shape and extraordinarily edged in copper-gold mirror.
