€3.100,00
This antique Italian walnut wood pulpit is an outstanding and rare Gothic Revival piece of furniture from late 19th century architecturally shaped with columns and broken arches.
The Neo Gothic pulpit is built in the form of a pentagon made up of wooden planks, each panel is molded with columns carved in the round and arches that recall the ancient architecture of medieval and gothic churches, while the base has its large stepped mouldings. A quite wide countertop and two shelves inside complete this incredible conversation piece.
What was a pulpit in 1800 can now be an eccentric and versatile piece of furniture both for private homes, shops or public places.
This charming architectural shaped piece has many potential uses such as a dry bar or a counter tavern, kitchen divider useful between kitchenette and dining room or parlour. Ideal for anyone wanting to open a restaurant or café to use as a whismical cashier cabinet, cash register desk to name a few.
An unusual hotel reception greeting station, front desk that can function as a small mini-office.
Ecclesiastical chic, charming and versatile cabinet, solid, stable and sturdy structure, extremely good overall condition, minor wear due to age and use.
