Iconic chair of the 20th century. Produced in mid-century era out of bent chrome pipe construction. Molded plywood seat and backrest. Original design by Mart Stam for the Thonet company. In Czechoslovakia the chairs were manufactured by Kovona company. Very good condition with seat and backrest in light oak wood color, seat and backrest restored with new finish. Chrome parts in very good condition with some age wear visible. Great industrial design with comfortable seating thanks to the pipe construction which allows for some spring in the seat. Yet it is strong enough to hold anybody for many generations to come.
