19th c. large crystal chandelier by Zahn & Co Vienna

A splendid large and original chandelier Maria-Theresia with 12 light: 8 light on the first row and 4 light on the second row around the chandelier. Above between the lights there are four poignards in flower-form bobeche. Beautiful, elegant shape; iron frame wrought by hand, leaf gilded. The arms are numbered and corresponding with the frame. They are covered on both sides with short glass strips, whose connection points are covered by rosettes. On each arm there is a cut bobeche. Central there a baluster and sphare shaped vases with a poignard. Above hangs a facetted bol. The whole chandelier is decorated with several different hand cut pendeloques, stars and tear drops.
