Large Table Lamp by Sölken Leuchten, Germany
€800,00
Paris is commonly known as 'The City of Light'. The city of Arnsberg though, should be referred to as 'The Capital of Light'. As this German town, and particular the borough of Neheim-Husten, was (and still continues to be) the home of a remarkable large number of lighting manufacturers. To name a few: Kaiser, Cosack and Hillebrand. Perhaps less known, but certainly as interesting, is Sölken Leuchten. During the 1960s and 1970s this company produced several highly decorative lighting fixtures...this large table lamp is one of them. Executed in white glass and chromed metal it holds seven light bulbs: two in each segment and one on top of the fixture. Marked with a label.
Wire is in a good condition, 6 bulbs of 40 watt, E14/17 (110 V) 14-17 mm, Small Edison Screw (SES) and at the top one bulb of 70 watt, E26/27 (110 V) 26-27 mm (Medium) Edison Screw (ES).
The lamp is being offered without shade.
