Vantablack vs Black 3.0 In 2016, Anish Kapoor, a British Indian sculptor, purchased exclusive artistic rights to use Vantablack, the blackest substance ever created, that absorbs 99.96% of light. In response, Stuart Semple, a British artist, created his own blacker black, Black 3.0, that anyone is allowed to use - "except Kapoor of course", initiating a fierce paint war. “I wanted to make a point about elitism and self-expression and the fact that everybody should be able to make art,” Semple said. This October, 18th marks the 102nd anniversary of Kolo Moser’s death (1868-1918), pioneer of Viennese Modernism. On this occasion we want to commemorate the universal artist with the new edition of one of his small masterpieces: a silver casket, adorned with corals, in the shape of a love letter. It was Gustav Mahler who commissioned Kolo Moser to create this special gift for his young wife Alma at Christmas 1902. We are proud to be able to reproduce this beautiful case after Kolo Moser’s design and to bring thereby a document of a historical love story to life.

“Let the experience be yours” We will open an exhibition entitled The New Generation on Sunday morning, Oct. 18. The purpose of the exhibition: respect The exhibiting artists are Kossuth Prize-winning artists, Ilona Keserü and Imre Bak are the Artists of the Nation award. The invitation: The selection presents iconic early paintings from works of 4.50 meters (Ilona Keserű) through classical paintings (István Nádler, Imre Bak) to masterpieces made last year. (László Fehér) There are unique sculptures from János Fajó and vibrant Hencze works. Early graphics by Dóra Maurer and a work with fingerprints. The vast majority of the material in the exhibition came from the studios to the gallery, so a joint selection of the artist and the gallery, several works will now be presented to the public for the first time. The works presented in three halls, on two levels, are accompanied by a rich selection of literature and books (about 50 books) allowing for a thorough orientation, but of course we are happy to talk about the works for you personally.
